Nude ‘Mona Lisa’ may be by Leonardo, experts say

Inquirer Breaking News - Tue, 03/05/2019 - 18:32
A nude drawing that bears a striking resemblance to the "Mona Lisa" was done in Leonardo da Vinci's studio and may be the work of the master himself, a French museum said Monday. Experts at the Louvre in Paris, where the world's biggest collection of Leonardo's work is held, have been examining a charcoal drawing known as the "Monna Vanna" which has long been attributed to the Renaissance painter's studio. But the charcoal preparatory work for a painting of a semi-nude woman, held at the Conde Museum at Chantilly north of Paris, may now have to be reclassified. "There is a very strong possibility that Leonardo did most of the drawing," Mathieu Deldicque, a curator ...

Montez Sweat, DK Metcalf among big winners at NFL scouting combine

Inquirer Breaking News - Tue, 03/05/2019 - 18:31
INDIANAPOLIS --- Receiver D.K. Metcalf showed off his muscle-man physique --- and his speed --- in Indianapolis. Defensive end Montez Sweat proved big men can run fast, too. The two pro prospects from rival colleges in Mississippi left the NFL's annual scouting combine as the two biggest winners of the weeklong event. They were impressive. Following Metcalf's performance in the 40-yard dash, the New York Jets' official Twitter account posted: "4.33? At that size?" The comment could tip off the Jets' plans for the No. 3 pick in April's NFL draft, considering quarterback Sam Darnold will be entering his second season in the league this fall. And who could blame them for ...

The make-out session comes after the actress and the comedian were spotted talking and cuddling at a Golden Globes afterparty in January. In early February, Beckinsale showed up to Davidson's stand-up comedy show in Los Angeles. They held hands as they left the venue together, People reported. The night bef...

It's a stunning 14-track collection that proves Hozier has suffered no sophomore slump. It's assured, unrushed, complex, soulful and passionate, with his specific Irish stew of R&B, rock, gospel and folk.
