A cargo ship hit a bridge in Bagong Bayan North, Navotas on Sunday evening amid bad weather.

According to a 24 Oras report by Emil Sumangil on Monday, the incident caused damage as the vessel also hit electric posts in the area.

"Kagabi pa po naanod 'yan at nung pagdating po namin kaninang umaga. Bale unahan po ng barko 'yung nakatutok po sa tulay namin at ito po nung tanghali, lumalaki ang tubig so ayan na po ang naging damage niya," Armando Eusebio, traffic enforcer said.
