Germany pledges more drones to coast guard

Germany has committed to donate at least four more drones to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) to use in its maritime domain awareness operations in the West Philippine Sea. PCG Commandant Adm. Ronnie Gil Gavan made the announcement on Thursday during the visit of German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock at the PCG headquarters in Manila from Jan. 11 to Jan 12. Iran's navy on Thursday seized a Greek-owned, Marshall Islands-flagged oil tanker off Oman, carrying 18 Filipino crewmen, according to the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW). Magalong: Baguio’s gastroenteritis cases now on downtrend
