A new report highlights the decrease in the actual number of piracy and armed robbery incidents in Asian waters but also that aspiring criminals are no less vigorous in their efforts to attack ships. The notorious Sulu-Celebes seas and waters off eastern Sabah have appeared less threatening this year, but a recent abduction case shows that danger remains
