29-year old Filipino crew, rank unknown, was found dead in his cabin in the morning Mar 10, on board of bulk carrier PORT PHILLIP, which just left Arica, Chile, destined fo Manzanillo, Mexico. He didn’t show up for his watch, and when checking his cabin, found dead. Master decided to interrupt voyage and return to Arica, to undergo all necessary procedures. Bulk carrier resumed voyage later that day. Reportedly, no foul play was found in seaman’s death.
