Ro-ro cargo ship NOLHANAVA was immobilized by a mechanical failure at Halifax, Canada, and can’t provide cargo services to French archipelago Saint Pierre and Miquelon, south of Newfoundland. General cargo ship ATLANTIC POWER (IMO 9163025, dwt 17451) replaced NOLHANAVA and as of Feb 7 she was under way in the Atlantic, heading for archipelago. NOLHANAVA meanwhile, remained stuck ay Halifax, waiting for spare parts to be delivered from Germany.
