Chief Engineer of general cargo ship MARIWIT was reported missing in the afternoon Nov 24, he was last seen in engine room when the ship was leaving Penang, Malaysia. SAR was launched, but Chief Engineer, 49-year old Chinese nationality, wasn’t found. The ship arrived at port of destination Kemaman, Malaysia, South China sea, on Nov 26.
