The International Maritime Organization’s new regulations on sulfur content in fuels kicked in on Jan. 1, 2020. Esben Poulsson of the International Chamber of Shipping says the availability of compliant fuels was a concern, but the industry is now ready. He also discusses piracy in the Straits of Singapore.
