Felixstowe Docker Blog has reported an accident which took place at New York Newark port, involving very large container ship TUCAPEL:
…The ship broke mooring lines while actively coming to berth. The ship was forced to drop anchor in order to help arrest movement, and was subsequently stabilized and secured with the assistance of four tug boats…
Accident took place during TUCAPEL stay at New York port, sometime in May 15-17 period.
