Bahrain imposes seafarer curfew in wake of Iranian attacks

No seafarer movement allowed from 6pm to 4am

Bahrain has banned ship crew movement at night following a series of Iranian attacks on its port infrastructure.

The interior ministry announced a curfew for all seafarers between the hours of 6pm and 4am local time due to measures taken to protect coastal areas.

Iran’s “blatant” attacks, involving missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, pose a significant risk to the safety of citizens and residents, the ministry said on Sunday.
