Body of Yemen ship’s cook found stuffed in freezer

RAJKOT: Body of a cook dinner murdered in a mid-sea combat aboard a Yemenis send, which was once en path to Alang send breaking backyard, was once discovered stuffed inside the shipment vessel’s deep freezer.

The incident was once declared on Tuesday to the Bhavnagar Marine police through the send’s agent Naresh Khuman, a resident of Bhavnagar.

The captain of the send Mohammad Dayed said that there was once a combat between the cook dinner Abdul Hakim Mohsin (54) and group member Masel Mohammad Quaid (41), each Yemen nationals.

Quaid stabbed Mohsin with a knife several occasions after a heated argument over some issue, leaving him dead on the spot. Police said that once the incident the captain of the send locked up Quaid in a cabin and put Mohsin’s body inside of a deep freezer.

The send ‘Oasis III’ had left Yemen coast on February 24 and docked off the Bhavnagar coast close to Alang on Sunday. On reaching the Bhavnagar coast, the captain informed the Yemen Embassy in India about the murder and contacted shipping agent Naresh Khuman.

NM Mandera, police sub-inspector of marine police, said that once Khuman informed them about the murder on the send, a workforce of police officers visited the send docked and made a access in its station diary. Further action against the accused shall be taken as consistent with the world regulations, he added.
