42 kilos of pure cocaine, packed in two suitcases, were found attached to underwater hull of VLCS CAUTIN at Lazaro Cardenas, Mexico, by Navy divers. CAUTIN arrived at Lazaro Cardenas from Colombia on Feb 6 and has been berthed for cargo operation, after completing operations she was taken to anchorage, and as of 0430 UTC Feb 9 she was still at anchor, though she should be already at Manzanillo, her next port of call.
