Responding to Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Noel Clement’s confirmation that a Chinese Coast Guard vessel was spotted four to five nautical miles away from Ayungin Shoal, Locsin tweeted Wednesday: “@DFAPHL Fire off another diplomatic protest, Igor. Now.”
