A crew member has been injured and abducted in a pirate raid on a reefer off West Africa.

Reporting organisation UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) and maritime security companies said the Curacao-flagged ship was boarded by seven armed men on Friday afternoon, off Sao Tome and Principe.
