SAN PEDRO CITY, Laguna, Philippines — With three confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Batangas province on Saturday issued “stringent measures,” according to a “quarantine advisory” issued by the provincial government.

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) announced today that seven foreign flagged ships remained under detention in UK ports during February 2020 after failing port state control (PSC) inspection.

During February, there were four new detentions of foreign flagged vessels in a UK port.
