Maersk has been hit by another cyber attack. Investigators are looking into how hackers managed to get into towage subsidiary Svitzer Australia’s email system for nearly 10 months before the hack was finally discovered on March 1 this year.

Shanghai Maritime Court has sold the 1997-built aframax tanker Amba Bhakti via an online auction on Taobao.

The vessel was abandoned by Indian owner Varun Shipping and detained by the court since 2016 at the requests of the ship’s crew due to unpaid salaries and by creditor China Shipping Industry due to a ship maintenance contract dispute.

On Thursday night,, the U.S.-flagged container ship Maersk Kensington reported a container on fire in a cargo hold while en route from Oman to Suez. Maersk said that the crew reacted swiftly by releasing CO2 into the hold. All 26 crew members are safe and accounted for and the fire is reported to be contained.
