Jakarta. The government plans to open a guesthouse in Cape Town this year to cater to Indonesian seafarers, the directorate of citizen protection and legal aid at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a report published on Thursday (01/02).

A crewman has died on a board a cargo ship in Norfolk.

The man suffered what East of England Ambulance Service described as a "traumatic injury" on the SMN Explorer at King's Lynn on Thursday morning.

An ambulance, rapid response vehicle and ambulance officer were called at 11:28 GMT. The man died at the scene.

A container ship is currently adrift off the B.C. coast after an engine fire.

The MOL Prestige, which is 293 metres long, is adrift approximately 207 nautical miles off Haida Gwaii.

The workers have been waiting for £714,000 in unpaid wages for almost two years.

The crew spent 18 months stuck in the city's port after the ship's former owner was liquidated.
