Chennai: The Madras high court has quashed criminal proceeding against captain of oil tanker M T Pratibha Cauvery, which ran aground and led to the death of six sailors off Chennai coast on October 31, 2012, for abetting death of the crew members.

A camel that fell from a livestock carrier into the sea near Shuwaikh Port in Kuwait has been rescued from drowning, reports Al-Rai daily.

A spokesperson of Kuwait Ports Authority Dr Yahya Abdal explained that the camel had arrived via ship from Doha along with 24 other crossbred camels.
