Piracy, armed robbery against ships falls to two-decade low: report

NAIROBI, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- A total of 180 incidents of maritime piracy and armed robbery were reported in 2017, the lowest annual number of incidents since 1995 when 188 reports were received, a global maritime body has said.

The Malaviya Seven was detained in June 2016, and again in October that year, under merchant shipping regulations.
