Container ship KUALA MAS reported fire on board at 0730 WIB (UTC +7) Apr 27, near Pulau Norwana island, north of Jakarta, shortly after leaving Jakarta. 18 crew were evacuated, fire in superstructure said to be extinguished or under control by 1030 WIB, last known AIS was at 0030 UTC Apr 27 in position 06 00 S 106 52 E. The ship was bound for Malahayati, Aceh, north Sumatra, ETA Apr 30.
